Passion. Dedication. Diligence. Advocacy.

Lauren Colaric

A Colorado native, Lauren moved to Nashville in 2007 to pursue a career as a singer/songwriter. She landed her first job there at the famous Bluebird Café where she witnessed some of the best songwriters in the business. After releasing an album of her own, “Soul Confetti”, in 2009, she transitioned to the business side of music working as a royalty analyst for Broadcast Music Incorporated (BMI).

A few years later when construction began on what would become the Belmont University College of Law building just down the street, she made the leap to the other end of the street and the legal side of the industry. During law school, Lauren expanded her experience into the world of professional sports as an intern with the Nashville Predators, and from there, she joined the legal department at Country Music Television (CMT) and later, CMT’s parent company, Viacom.

After leaving Viacom to establish her own law practice, Lauren has continued her focus in the field of music and entertainment, developing a clientele ranging from Grammy nominated artists to emerging artists signing their first deal. An ardent advocate, she’s dedicated and driven to helping clients meet the challenges of today and tomorrow in an ever-evolving field.

She was recently recognized as one of the “2020 Rising Voices in Entertainment and Sports Law” by The American Bar Association.
