After a brief stint in Los Angeles, Lauren moved to Nashville in 2007, where she later wrote, produced, and released an independent album, "Soul Confetti", in 2009. Her experience as an artist, combined with her work as a royalty analyst at Broadcast Music Incorporated (BMI) prompted her interest in the legal side of the music and entertainment business.
During law school, Lauren interned in the legal department of the Nashville Predators, and then at Country Music Television (CMT), where she was hired upon graduating. Her next step was joining CMT's parent company, Viacom, where she advised on content and distribution matters across Viacom's global networks. From there, Lauren began building a private practice working with emerging and experienced artists and creators alike.
Today she continues to expand her practice in the ever developing field of entertainment law including but not limited to: Artists Rights, Business Law, Entity Formation, Intellectual Property Licensing, Music Licensing, Legal Agreements, Business Strategy Consulting, and Management.
